Laboratory Automation, Interoperability & Clinical Analytics

Integrated software solutions for clinical laboratories, specialty practices, and research organizations

Nextora Analytics delivers end-to-end lab connectivity, data pipelines, and analytics with HL7 and FHIR interoperability—helping laboratory and IT leadership automate workflows, unify instrument and LIS data, and improve turnaround time across clinical and research environments.

  • End-to-end laboratory connectivity and automation
  • Biomedical data and imaging pipeline development
  • Operational analytics and performance reporting
  • Private, on-premise clinical AI deployment
  • Vendor-neutral implementation across LIS, EHR, and instrument ecosystems
  • Instrument–LIS–EHR connectivity aligned with HL7 workflows and modern FHIR patterns

What we build

  • Interoperability-first Lab Automation

Instrument, LIS, and EHR integration with automated reporting and audit trails.

  • Data Pipelines

DICOM, instrument export, and legacy database ingest, normalization, and query access.

  • Analytics

Turnaround, volume, QC, and capacity reporting on governed operational data.

  • Private AI

On-network retrieval over institutional documents and protocols.

How we work

From the workflow that is breaking to a system your team can run.

  • 1. Understand

We map how work actually moves today — instruments, LIS, EHR, spreadsheets, and the person carrying data between them — and where it stalls.

  • 2. Design

We write down the slice, the cost, and what “done” means before code starts. If the real problem is a vendor change or a regulatory specialist, we say so here.

  • 3. Build

We develop and integrate against your test or staging environment first. Nothing touches production records until the terms are settled.

  • 4. Hand over

You keep the code, the documentation, and a runbook. If you need us afterward, it should be because you want the next thing built, not because you are locked in.

Start with one problem

You do not need a platform rebuild. One interface or report path, one reporting bottleneck, or one SOP corpus is enough to tell whether the work is worth expanding.

  • One instrument-to-LIS or report hop that staff still type by hand.
  • One monthly report that lives with one person and their spreadsheet.
  • One set of protocols or SOPs nobody can search without leaving the network.

Frequently asked questions

Laboratory connectivity, data, and private AI — clarified

Answers to the questions laboratory and IT leaders ask before an engagement. For detailed compliance scope, see our Trust page.

  • Do you replace our LIS or EHR?

No. Nextora builds the connectivity, automation, and data layers around the systems you already run. Typical work closes the gaps between instruments, LIS, EHR, and reporting—without a rip-and-replace of your core platforms.

    Lab automation

  • How do you reduce manual data entry and transcription errors?

We map where staff currently retype orders, results, or reports, then automate those hops—commonly instrument→LIS and LIS↔EHR paths using standards-based interfaces. You receive working integrations, audit trails, and a runbook your team can operate.

    Lab automation

  • Do you work with HL7? What about FHIR?

Yes. HL7 v2 messaging (including common order/result patterns such as ORM/ORU) remains central to many laboratory workflows. Where partners or programs require modern APIs, we design FHIR-ready paths and HL7-to-FHIR bridge strategies without pretending every legacy interface disappears overnight.

    Lab automation

  • Are you middleware, a LIS vendor, or a custom software firm?

Nextora delivers fixed-scope software and data engineering for laboratories, specialty practices, and research groups: workflow automation, biomedical data and imaging pipelines, operational analytics, and private AI deployment. We are not a LIS product company and we do not sell a licensed middleware platform—you keep the systems we build.

    Solutions

  • How do engagements improve turnaround time?

Turnaround time improves when orders and results stop waiting on manual re-entry and when operational data is queryable for exceptions and capacity. Engagements target a defined hop or reporting bottleneck first—so turnaround time gains are tied to a shipped interface, pipeline, or analytics path, not a vague “digital transformation” program.

    Analytics

  • What does a typical first engagement look like?

A defined first slice: one instrument-to-LIS or report path, one monthly reporting bottleneck, or one on-network document corpus for private AI. Scope, cost, and “done” are written before build. Typical duration is measured in weeks for a constrained slice—not a multi-year platform rebuild. Vendor access, change control, and validation are scoped after constraints are visible.

    How we work

  • Are you vendor-neutral?

Yes. Recommendations are driven by your workflow and operating model, not by an affiliation with a LIS, middleware, or appliance vendor. When an off-the-shelf product is the better answer, we say so before you fund custom work.

    Trust

  • Do you offer AI? Can it run on-premise?

Yes—private, on-network or air-gapped retrieval over your own documents and protocols (for example SOPs), with source citations. Models are sized to your hardware and query volume. Draft-style outputs should stay under human review where clinical or operational risk requires it. We do not require sending PHI to a public cloud API for this class of work.

    Private AI

  • Are you HIPAA compliant?

Nextora does not call software “HIPAA-compliant.” If an engagement requires a Business Associate Agreement, we execute the BAA before identifiable data moves. Architecture choices (on-premise deployment, access control, audit logging) support your compliance program; your organization remains responsible for risk analysis and policy. See the Trust page for what we will and will not claim.

    Trust

  • Who owns the code when the project ends?

You do. Engagements end with the code in your repository, documentation, and a runbook your team can operate. Follow-on work is optional—not required to keep the system running.
